Dealing with Invisible Illness

There's a big gap in postings.  I apologize for my absence.  As you can see, I'm just another human being dealing with everyday issues and then some.  You will find, at different times as I go along in my blog, that I refer to disability issues, illness, and maybe even some medical posts.  It all depends on what the day brings.
Because I deal with a chronic illness that is debilitating, I am often indisposed.  Yet I press on.  Quick, guess who said, "Never, never, never give up!"  I find a reason every day to keep going.  Sometimes the going is slow.............and sometimes I'm on a mission.  When you're in the situation that I am, and there are many people who are, you gotta go with the flow.  I may not even be able to type much to share.  Some days my fingers work better than others.  I know I've made progress when I can post content that appeals to me and I want to share with you.  Isn't that what these blogs are for?
Some blogs focus on business and success.  Some on health and wellness.  I focus on being successful in business with health and disability issues.  I will post more on the subjects later.  I've reached my limit tonight.  In closing, it's been a merry Christmas and I'm looking forward to a new and improved year.

A FRIEND IS ONE WHO KNOWS ALL ABOUT YOU AND STILL RESPECTS YOU.

A true friend is a priceless gift. When we reveal our hopes, our dreams, and our deepest secrets to others, and they still like and respect us, such people are to be cherished. All too often, the only reason others wish to spend time with us-to be our friends-is because of what they perceive we can do for them, not the other way around. A real friendship is reciprocal, one in which each friend benefits equally. You can earn the friendship of others by being the kind of person who deserves respect from friends. When others look up to you, it should make you even more conscious of the responsibility you have to treat them with the same respect you would like them to afford you.

Dog Runs Out Door | Dog Escapes | Runaway Dog

Dog Escapes

Runaway Dog

Dog Runs AwayBackyard escape artists love to figure out ways to break out of their yard, employing all kinds of mental acuity to dig, tunnel or climb to freedom. Dogs that bolt through the front door, however, seem motivated by a different drive – the thrill of the chase. There’s nothing that compares to a heady game of “Chase me!” through traffic, leaving dogs exhilarated and owners terrified to open their own front door for fear of a runaway dog.
The problem is particularly problematic around the holidays, when guests and delivery men descend on the front steps with increasing frequency. How do you break your dog of this bad habit – and of the terrible anxiety when your dog runs away?
